Superhawk Films is a motion picture development and production company based in Texas with a mandate of telling fictional and non-fictional Texas stories. The Lone Star state has an outstanding film history – with classics such as Giant, The Getaway, The Last Picture Show, Terms of Endearment, Urban Cowboy, Fandango, Dazed and Confused, No Country for Old Men, and Rushmore – all filmed in locations throughout our great state. Our goal is to follow in this great heritage.

Our first feature film is Crossroads, starring Hannah James, Eric Nelsen, Jack Falahee, Jake Thomas, Andriana Manfredi and Will Brittain. It’s a funny, sweet and poignant story about a group of friends hitting crossroads in their lives, stumbling over decisions about relationships and careers, filmed entirely on location in Houston. Directed by British filmmaker Andy Delaney, and written and produced by Peter James Cooper, Crossroads is an official selection of the Dallas International Film Festival, and is being distributed in North America by Vertical Entertainment. This film is being released in select theaters throughout the U.S. and on Apple and Amazon Prime on March 28th, 2025.

Superhawk Films is currently fundraising for their next feature film Rio Frio. It’s a thriller about a group of friends who go bird hunting in South Texas, finding themselves in danger when they encounter bad guys trespassing on their land. Written and produced by Peter James Cooper, Rio Frio begins filming in the fall of 2025. If you'd like more information about this project, please email us directly at hq@superhawk.com.
